Listen! Daughter – Drift

Since Daughter just played Toronto on Tuesday, I thought we should feature the B-side they just put up on YouTube a few days ago. The track is called Drift, and is the B-side to their single Human, off of debut album If You Leave.

The track doesn’t have any proper singing, sort of like the EP track Switzerland. Instead, we get layers of ethereal sounds, electronic percussion, and something that doesn’t sound far off the music of The xx. It’s simple yet beautiful (like my mind). Check out Daughter’s track Drift below.
