Photos: Of Monsters and Men @ Kool Haus, Toronto, Canada
Last night, Icelandic folk rock band, Of Monsters and Men, hit up Toronto for their first of two shows. Pretty impressive sized venue for a band with one album to play at for 2 nights. The band are touring their massively popular My Head is an Animal debut album, which includes the hit track that we featured, Mountain Sound.
While PeteHatesMusic didn’t get a chance to actually review the show (we would like to blame excessive alcohol consumption, so maybe we will), we did have our photographer on hand. Thank god they say pictures are worth 1000 words – makes my word count targets a lot easier. Let us now present to you some excellent professional shots by our go to guy, Martin Bazyl of Martin Bazyl Photograph. Check out the photos below.
Of particular note last night was the way the band played to the rapturous crowd, such as the drummer conducting the crowd at one point. The keyboardist was also new, and playing his first gig with the band.
Be sure to follow PeteHatesMusic on Facebook and on Twitter to get all your concert reviews and all the best new music. It’s a Wikipedia fact I’m pretty sure.
