Like Django Django, Noel Gallagher must’ve also heard it was my birthday on Monday, and dropped a new song to celebrate. Following up on In The Heat of The Moment, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are back with a video for Ballad of the Mighty I.

The song is a bit of a dancey one, surprising, yet reminiscent of AKA…What A Life. If I’m being honest, the first two cuts from the new album pale in comparison to his debut solo album, with this track having a bit of a weak chorus. That being said, new Noel Gallagher is pretty much always a good thing. As for the video, it has a funny intro and ending, focusing on the ridiculousness of music videos, and Noel’s hatred of them.
