Morning Music Notes – If I Postpone My Tour, You’ll Hear New Songs
The Antlers have announced a brand spanking new album. It is their fourth album, and it will be called Familiars. It’s out on June 17, and follows up a couple of EPs that the band released since 2011’s Burst Apart.
The first video is for Palace, which is a slow, purposeful video for a song with the same characteristics. Check out the building track below.

Bad news for Australia, but good news for the rest of the world (minus haters of Kanye West). The rapper has postponed his Australian tour so that he can finish up work on his new album. Wait, didn’t he just put out a new album? And have a kid? I think he’s napping not rapping. (via Billboard)
Elton John and longtime partner David Furnish will finally marry after 20 years of being together. Why now? Because Elton finally made the big move the law in England and Wales changed such that same-sex marriages are now legal. (via NME)
There’s a CBCMusic.ca festival in Burnaby, British Columbia – how about that? Bands playing include Tegan and Sara, Spoon, the Arkells, Hannah Georges, Prism Prize nominees (and audience prize winners) Belle Game, and more. Tickets go on sale on Friday, and the concert is June 14. (via Exclaim)
