Listen! The Black Keys – Fever

While I was busy nursing my hangover from Sunday night’s Prism Prize gala, the Black Keys decided to go out and drop their first new song in about 2.5 years on us. Still hungover 2 days later, I’m fighting the good fight and posting Fever to make your ears happy.

The band have a new album called Turn Blue out May 13. Our first taste of the Danger Mouse-produced track has an old school rock feel, with a catchy lead melody. Singer Dan Auerbach busts out his falsetto yet again. Newer fans seem to like it, older fans continue to slam the direction Danger Mouse has taken them the past few albums that he has done. I’m more in the middle, and can definitely see myself loving this song after a few more listens. Check out the song below and judge for yourself.
