Contest! Beat the Box Office and Win Half Moon Run Concert Tickets (Toronto show)
Mere mortals have to wait until Friday for a chance to buy tickets to see Canadian indie rockers Half Moon Run at their November 30 Toronto show at the Phoenix Concert Theatre (with support from THUS:OWLS). Fans of PeteHatesMusic can enter a contest to win a pair of tickets right now. This is a chance for you to Beat The Box Office, and no physical violence is required for the beating.
Half Moon Run – Full Circle
Half Moon Run burst onto the music scene last year with their track Full Circle (one of our favourite songs of 2012) and also Call Me in the Afternoon. They’ve been touring Europe and making waves over there – now it’s time to catch them again in North America.

So what do you have to do to win this prizes? It’s simple (sort of).
No one likes rules (except for those lawyer-type people), but there are a few for this contest. There’s no purchase necessary and we won’t share your information with anyone. You must enter via Twitter (explained below), and there’s only one entry per person – anyone found with multiple Twitter entries is a loser (in both life and the contest). Please – do not retweet the heck out of this thing, either – like bedside beers, one is enough. The contest ends on Friday, September 13 at 9:30am EST / 6:30am PST (although I don’t expect any Pacific coast entries). This is an all ages show, so bring your great grandad if you win.
We are giving away one pair of tickets to the show to one lucky person. Following us on Twitter does not enter you into the contest – you must tweet the above phrase in addition to following us. You must also not have a locked/private Twitter account because then we can’t see you retweet us!
