Watch! Austra – Painful Like

Another new video from Toronto’s Austra, off of their excellent second album, Olympia. The video for Painful Like follows that of Home, which took place in a single room. The video showcases the ill-advised hobby of night time rollerblading. On the bright side, they have a TV with Katie Stelmanis singing to them to guide them around the dark streets.

Like many tracks on Olympia, Painful Like features a warmer sound than the pagan anthems dark synth pop on their debut album. Check out Painful Like below, and don’t rollerblade around town at night while reading this blog post.
