Listen! The Vaccines – Melody Calling

The Vaccines are trying to compete with Arctic Monkeys for one of the most prolific UK bands around. This September, Arctic Monkeys are releasing their fifth album in the past 7 years. The Vaccines released an album in 2011 and 2012, and just last night premiered a new song on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show.

The band have also followed Arctic Monkeys to the United States, and recorded a song in Los Angeles. The new track, Melody Calling, has a very summery sound. Maybe because it’s always summer in LA? Check it out below, and try and guess how an album of these breezy tracks might sound.
