Friday Afternoon Funnies: Alice in Chains Mockumentary

A nice mockumentary for your Friday Afternoon Funnies. PHM contributor Millar is a big Alice in Chains fan and bribed me to put this up. We have the “story” of Alan Poole McLard, a Film Studies Professor at a community college determined to make a documentary about Alice in Chains ahead of their new album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. “Here” means extinction?

We have an interview with a hipster blogger (aren’t we all?), a country musician who claims he influenced the band, and a Jamaican musician – but no interviews with the band themselves. It’s like Michael Moore and his Roger & Me documentary. Sort of. Well, not really. But we do get guest spots from people like Mike McCready from Pearl Jam, Kim Thayil from Soundgarden, Duff McKagan from Guns N Roses, and others. Check it out below in your Friday Afternoon Funnies.
