Welcome to the PeteHatesMusic Weekend Catch Up, where we present you with some great songs that didn’t come out this week, but you definitely need to hear.

We have a track from Irish indie folk band, Villagers, whose debut album was shortlisted for a Mercury Prize. They dropped a new album in January called {Awayland} which featured the single Nothing Arrived (which seems to be the case with all my mail order brides). Is it a postage problem?

Nothing Arrived has a bit of a downer of a chorus lyrically, but it’s catchy and powerful, and is worth checking out. Give the latest single by Villagers a listen below.
