The band found indie fame with 2003 album, Transatlanticism, which led to them landing their record deal with Atlantic – was the album name a hint or some weird foreshadowing? The band become more popular with hits from Plans, such as Soul Meets Body, Crooked Teeth, and got nominated for a Grammy for the album and for the song, I Will Follow You Into the Dark. The band are currently writing depressing songs following Ben’s split from everyone’s crush, Zooey Deschanel.
