Disco Era Singer Donna Summer Has Died at 63
Five time Grammy winner Donna Summer has died from cancer, TMZ reports (take that source for what it’s worth). You might know the name and not the songs, but she cranked out some hits that resonated with people. Her list of awards and accomplishments is long, but try this on for size – she was the first artist to have three straight double albums hit number one on Billboard. Donna’s songs have been sampled and covered numerous times by artists, especially I Feel Love. A few Twitter tributes have begun to come in, such as from Tom Morello.
