You’ve Heard of the Hunger Games – Now Comes the Spoof: The Hipster Games
The Hunger Games currently is dominating movie theatres across the worldwide, and the book might be dominating my bedside table, as I try and see what the hype is all about. The premise of the book is about young people fighting to the death in a televised event in a post-apocalyptic world. The latest spoof of this: The Hipster Games. This is the result of bringing together hipsters from Austin, Brooklyn, Portland, Oakland, and Silverlake (in LA). Instead of fighting, the videos make fun of hipsters’ fake glasses, being vegan, and the cost of dressing like a hipster. Check out the moderately funny video below (it’s not hilarious, I’ll be honest).
