How Music Apps Rank vs Other Categories of Apps for Popularity

Nobody likes a popularity contest, especially loners like me. However,of all of the apps downloaded within the past 30 days, Nielsen research shows that music apps were the 5th most popular. Games are (obviously?) the most downloaded, followed by weather (look outside – not at your phone!), then social networking. But why explain in words what a fancy graph can do in picture form? Do music apps need a revamping, or is 5th place (AND a fancy participation ribbon) good enough? Surprisingly, news apps trailed behind music apps.
