Listen! STACEY – Worst Part

We have a heartbreakingly beautiful new song by Toronto singer STACEY. She’s about to release the STACEY EP (guess who it’s named after?) on USB keys, which is great since my new laptop doesn’t have a CD drive.

The track is called the Worst Part, which must refer to whenever Jar Jar Binks shows up in the Star Wars trilogy. The song is a simple, piano ballad, displaying excellent vocals from STACEY, somewhat reminiscent of the vocals on Emily Haines’ sparse solo album. STACEY hits up Measure in Toronto on December 5 for her album release show. Take a listen below.
