Morning Music Notes – A Ruff Week for a Forgotten Rapper
The Weeknd is slowly releasing some tracks from his upcoming album, Kiss Land. He also had time to partake in an excellent remix with Kavinsky.
The latest track is called Love in the Sky, which I’m assuming is about astronauts or flight stewardesses or maybe even Superman. The track has a bit of a rock feel to it, with strings punctuating parts of it, with Abel Tesfaye laying his silky smooth vocals on top of it all. Kiss Land is out at the end of August.

Are you going to Osheaga or sitting at home with your cat and not attending Lollapalooza this weekend? Well, good news – you can catch Nine Inch Nails and others from the comfort of your underwear. Check out the webcast schedule.
Facebook might get a bit crappier as they are now introducing video ads directly into your newsfeed. I just want to see baby pictures and pictures of my friends’ food though! (via All Things D)
