Listen! Explosions in the Sky & David Wingo – Join Me On My Avalanche

New stuff from Explosions in the Sky is always good news. You might have recently heard their collaboration with composer Dave Wingo. Well, now there’s another. If that seems strange, it shouldn’t – they’ve team up for the soundtrack of the movie Prince Avalanche, which stars Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch.

The latest track is called Join Me On My Avalanche, which is either a euphemism or a terrible suggestion (if you like living). The track is a well constructed, lush piece that shows how much Explosions in the Sky have evolved over the years, and just what they are capable of. Check out Join Me On My Avalanche, and watch out for the film on August 9.
