Listen! The Bear and the Sea – Astronaut Sun

Some instrumental music out of Portland, Oregon for you, and it’s not some grungy, hipster band (for a change). The band is a guy known as The Bear and the Sea, and he’s not a bear as he’s keen to point out. He probably doesn’t even like the sea.

An album just came out on Tuesday, and a whole whack of songs are up on his SoundCloud page. The one featured here is Astronaut Sun, which features a full range of booth bleeps AND bloops. The tracks range in instrumentation, tone, and feel, so if you don’t like one track, try another.
