Listen! Soundgarden – Non-State Actor

Soundgarden have been hit or miss with recent releases. The latest preview of their first new album since the 90s is in the form of Non-State Actor. The track has that heavy, underlying sound with a good riff or 2 on top of Chris Cornell’s pretty much always stellar vocals. Let’s just say this track has got more balls than Live to Rise.

The song is missing a memorable chorus, but the vocal scream from Cornell on the later chorus is vintage 90s Cornell. Check out the flag waving video for the non-video version of the song. You’ll see what I mean. King Animal is out November 13.
