Listen! Jim James – A New Life

Singer Jim James from My Morning Jacket has another solo song to compliment his earlier release of Know Til Now. The track is A New Life and both are off of debut solo album, Regions Of Light And Sound Of God, which sounds kind of epic.

The song is a slower track, which gains ‘a new life’ around the minute and a half mark and kicks it up a tiny notch. As the song continues, James’ singing gets more intense, and more layers get added, making the feel of the song radically different by the end of it. Check it out below.
