Watch! Petite Noir – Down

We’ve featured Cape Town, South Africa’s Petite Noir (his parents call him Yannick Ilunga) a couple of times, and not just because Cape Town is one of the best cities I have ever been to. His tracks Chess and Shadows are fresh and have a good vibe. These fresh, good vibes continue in his new video, Down. The song will be on the new September 11 release La Vie Est Belle / Life Is Beautiful.

The song has backing vocalists, and a bit of a dancey / shake your booty vibe, but without being in your face – no small feat. For the video, Petite Noir traveled to Lubumbashi, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Check out more good stuff from the artist known as Petite Noir.
