CMW Critical Conclusions for… Twin Peaks (Canadian Music Week 2015 concert review)

The legendary Horseshoe Tavern beckoned, and our Friday night at CMW continued there. Up first were Chicago indie band Twin Peaks.

Venue: The Horseshoe Tavern

First Impression: Frantic headbanging and body shaking. Oh, and it was L.O.U.D.

Stage Presence: Rocking out and loving life. Dedicated a lot of songs to Derrick Rose (da Bulls).

Crowd Reaction: Pretty packed house. Some guy had a ridiculous feather or something obscenely large in the side of his hat. Not sure how many channels he got with it.

Random Observation: Lots more rookie photogs using their flash non-stop. When will they ever learn? Huge pet peeve of mine.

Last Word: 7.5/10. Powerful and hard rock. Semi melodic and not overly catchy, but solid, driving rock.
