Listen! The Decemberists – The Wrong Year (lyric video)

What’s in a name? It’s December and we have more new stuff from the Decemberists, and some might call that fitting. The quirky folk pop rockers are readying new album What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World (out January 20), and have now given us the lyric video for The Wrong Year.

Following Make You Better and Lake Song is a more typical Decemberists track The Wrong Year. The bridge and chorus remind me of old Decemberists tracks, which is not a bad thing. The album generally sounds like a band returning to their roots, which could be a good thing. Check out The Wrong Year below.
