CONTEST! Win Vinyls from Hozier and Leonard Cohen

Good news for fans of a) vinyl records and b) good music. Thanks to With A Bullet, we have two vinyls for you to win. One is a hot new act, and the other is a Canadian institution.

Hozier – Take Me to Church

One lucky winner will win a vinyl of Irish singer Hozier and his self-titled album, and also win a vinyl of Canadian legend Leonard Cohen and his new record, Popular Problems.

No one likes rules (except for those lawyer-type people), but there are a few for this contest. There’s no purchase necessary and we won’t share your information with anyone. You must enter via Twitter (explained below), and there’s only one entry per person – anyone found with multiple Twitter entries is a loser (in both life and the contest).

Please – do not retweet the heck out of this thing, either – like beers before 8am, one is enough. Just follow us on Twitter, do the tweet we ask you to do, and one pair of tickets could be yours. Oh, and you must have a Canadian address for the two records to get shipped to you. Sorry, rest of the world.

Step 1 – Follow @PeteHatesMusic on Twitter. If you already follow us, you’re awesome (or probably related to me).
Step 2 – Tweet the phrase below.

I want to win Hozier and Leonard Cohen vinyls! Follow @PeteHatesMusic and tweet to enter http://bit.ly/1xtcpeL

The contest ends on Sunday, November 2 at 9:00pm EDT / 6:00pm PDT.

We are giving away one vinyl record for Hozier and one vinyl record of Leonard Cohen to one lucky person. Following us on Twitter does not enter you into the contest – you must tweet the above phrase in addition to following us. You must also not have a locked/private Twitter account because then we can’t see you retweet us! Sometimes people need common sense spelled out to them.

Simple, right? Okay, not really. Anyway, if you win, @PeteHatesMusic will send you a direct message on Twitter to gather your address information, and we’ll ship you the two vinyls and make you a happy person. Everyone wins, right?
