Morning Music Notes – Macca Has Another 15 Minutes of Fame
Cut Copy are back from down under and have a new album out Nov 1 (AUS) /4 (EU) /5 (NA). The Free Your Mind title track has dropped and now we have a video as well.
If you like True Blood (which is apparently still on the air), then you’ll like the video, as it stars vampire Alexander Skarsgard, who is a clothing optional kind of guy. Watch Skarsgard free his mind in some sort of bizarro clinic / cult.

Eminem reveals his tracklisting for MMLP2 (for which he’s already dropped Survival and Berzerk) and besides trying to guess what the song titles will sound like, we can check out the guest stars. We get Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, fun. singer Nate Ruess, and Skylar Grey. (via NME)
Paul McCartney played a non-so-surprise gig in Times Square in New York yesterday. He played 4 songs and 15 minutes, leading to a 15 minutes of fame joke by Sir Paul. Check out some fan footage below, which is a sea of people watching Paul McCartney through their phone.
Not music related but Batman related – Quentin Tarantino doesn’t have an opinion on Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, since he doesn’t think Batman is a very interest character. Pffft, whatever. (It’s hard for me to insult a guy I admire) (via NME)
