Watch! The Movements – The Death of John Hall D.Y.

Here’s a refreshing take on 60s rock by a Swedish band. And here I thought Swedish artists only made stunning pop gems. The band are The Movements and they hail from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band are releasing their new album, Elephants 1 (Oct 25 – EU, Nov 5 – NA), with Elephants 2 to follow in 2014.

The track is The Death of John Hall D.Y., and is a mix of 60s harmonies and 60s psychedelia. The video is also elegantly shot, too. Check out the excellent tune below and wait for the elephants to start arriving.
