Morning Music Notes – Why Do You Only Cover Me When You’re High?

I’m a fan of both Queens of the Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys. I was curious when Arctic Monkeys teamed with QOTSA singer Josh Homme for production of their Humbug and AM albums. What’s even more curious – this cover of an Arctic Monkeys song by Queens of the Stone Age.

The version is an acoustic version of Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High, a new track off of next week’s AM release. While missing the drive and groove of the original, it’s interesting to see the mentor cover the students. Check it out below.
