Here’s the story:

Nobody is sure where this all started, but rumours started to swirl about The Who attempting to take One Direction’s new video down from YouTube for being a ripoff of Baba O’Reilly. Despite the high likelihood that this rumour was bullshit, the Tween Twitterverse© exploded, shit hit the proverbial fans, and One Direction’s insane fanbase made #donttouchbestsongever a global trend.

In an effort to cool everyone down, Pete Townshend quickly blurted out a statement that said – among other things – I like the single [and] I like One Direction. Ha!
