Watch! Solar Year – Global Girlfriend

I listened to this song last week on Gorilla vs Bear and I’m like – it’s great. Then I went to post it, and I thought I bookmarked the wrong track, as I didn’t like it. I tried again, loved it, but got busy (not the good kind of ‘getting busy’). So without further adieu, check out a track by Solar Year called Global Girlfriend.

Like a real girlfriend, Global Girlfriend starts off exciting and then gets boring really quick (just kidding, girlfriend). The track has a blend of vocals and beats fighting for their place in the song, with competing layers getting added to the mix.
