Listen! Radkey – Cat & Mouse

Thank god – a new band that plays guitars!

Radkey: good band, but not convinced they check their blind spot when parking.

The Band: Radkey is comprised of 3 teenage brothers from St. Joseph Missouri – Daron (19), Isaiah (17), and Solomon (15). I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that their last name is probably Radkey? Maybe not – but there’s not a ton of info about these guys out there.

The sound: Somewhere between The Misfits’ dark melodic punk and Arctic Monkeys’ buzzing riffs. Hard Rock, but clearly coming from a love of classic punk and with a refreshing lack of production gloss.

The track: This is the title track of a 5 tracks release on Adrian Grenier’s Wreckroom Records and it’s all quite promising. Take a listen:
