Listen! Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) – She Burns (Featuring Mara Carlyle)

Joe Goddard is from Hot Chip and Two Bears. Joe Goddard also has a new solo album coming out. Joe (I think I can call him Joe by sentence #3) is releasing a new EP later this year called Taking Over, which readers are wishing they can do at this point of the post. Until then, he has given us our first listen of the EP.

The track is called She Burns, and is a whopping 8 minutes long. Hopefully I don’t see something shiny or a kitten or my attention span is likely to waver. The track starts off slow before finding its groove and adding layers throughout the 8 minutes. Check out the track below.
