The weird get weirder. I feel the Flaming Lips have reached a point where they have to try quite hard to outdo their previous weirdness. They somehow often succeed. The video we have is for the Flaming Lips / Bon Iver collaboration Ashes in the Air. The track is from last year’s The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, even though upcoming album The Terror is only a couple of weeks away.

The track has that slow, 70s psychedelic prog rock, Pink Floyd-esque feel, infused with the randomness that the Flaming Lips often provide.
