Listen! Gold & Youth – Jewel

Vancouver-based Gold & Youth are about to release their debut album, Beyond Wilderness, on May 14. Before that is a trip down to Austin for SXSW. The band has whet the whistles of concert-goers by giving us their delightful new track, Jewel. Thankfully, it’s not about the singer of the same name – OR IS IT?!

Jewel has a bit of an 80s vibe to it, and is beautifully sung by Louise Burns. We get some counteracting male vocals kicking in around the 3 minute mark. Make your ears happy and check out Gold & Youth – this is what synth-tinged awesomeness sounds like.
