Google Maps Goes to the Grand Canyon
I’m convinced Google will soon be mapping the Moon and Mars. After doing the Great Barrier Reef, the Amazon, Swiss Alps, and other often unreachable areas, the search engine company (and now ‘everything’ company) Google and their quest to map the Earth now extends to the Grand Canyon, as noted on their blog.
“These beautiful, interactive images cover more than 75 miles of trails and surrounding roads, making our map of this area even more comprehensive, accurate and easy to use than ever before.” Check out a video below, or muck about in the embedded Google Map below.
