Weekend Catch Up: Echo Friendly – Same Mistakes

Welcome to the PeteHatesMusic Weekend Catch Up, where we present you with some great songs that didn’t come out this week, but you definitely need to hear.

Based on some of the YouTube comments, this song was just featured recently in the TV show Girls, so maybe you’ve heard the track. That last sentence is me pretending that I don’t watch Girls – did it work? The track we’re featuring is a mellow duet by the band Echo Friendly (which my Bat Cave is obviously not).

The track is Same Mistakes, and features some nice vocal play between singers Jake R. and Shannon E. (they won’t give their last names out, which is something I learned not to do in Alcoholics Anonymous). Check it out below.
