Watch! Tim Hecker & Daniel Lopatin – Intrusions
A couple of months ago, I was a virgin we told you about the collaborative album between PHM favourite Tim Hecker and Daniel Lopatin (who has worked under the name Oneohtrix Point Never). The album is called Instrumental Tourist and is out on November 20. You’ve hopefully heard Uptown Psychedelia, and now you can see a video for Instrusions.
The track starts off as a thumping explosion of static noise that Tim Hecker somehow always finds a way to make sound melodic. The track shifts and changes throughout, just like the cars seen in this video! +1 for symbolism (or me reaching for symbolism). Check out the video below.
