Watch! Pinback – Sherman

Pinback are back with their latest album, Information Retrieved, which sort of provides images of espionage. I just like that word, to be honest. They have a new (non-espionage based) video for their track, Sherman. The video was released through tech website, Wired, adding to the odd trend of non-music focused sites (Conan O’Brien, I’m looking at you) releasing music. Don’t steal my job, dammit!

The video has a sci-fi/space vibe to it. I think the vibe comes directly from the fact that they are in space (note: not really, I don’t think. Maybe their video budget was HUGE and I am unaware). The track is subtle yet catchy, melodic yet dense. Check it out below.
