Win a Copy of the new Mumford & Sons Album, Babel, On PeteHatesMusic!

Mumford & Sons blew away everyone’s first album expectations, taking the London folk scene globally with their first album, Sigh No More. They evolved from clubs to sell out arenas, all on the strength of one album. Heck, they even played in Portugal when Marcus Mumford had a broken hand! The London foursome will release their follow up album next week (September 24 in the UK, September 25 in North America), and expectations are high for Babel. We’ve seen the video for their first single, I Will Wait, which led to all sorts of obvious release date puns. But rather than buy the album like a sucker true fan, PeteHatesMusic is giving you the opportunity to win 1 of 5 CDs of Babel. Thanks again to Universal Music, who helped us with our Two Door Cinema Club give away.

No one likes rules, but there are a few quick ones for this contest. There’s no purchase necessary (but we will accept any monetary donations), and we won’t share your information with anyone. You must enter via Twitter (explained below), and only one entry per person – anyone found with multiple Twitter entries is wasting their (and my) precious time. No need to retweet the heck out of this thing, either – PLEASE. Just follow us, do the tweet we ask you to do, and Babel might be yours. The contest ends on Monday, September 24 at 10:00am PDT / 1:00pm EDT / 6:00pm BST.

How to enter – Twitter

Step 1 – Follow @PeteHatesMusic on Twitter. If you already follow us, you’ve clearly got your head on straight.
Step 2 – Either retweet our original tweet or tweet the phrase below this line:

I want to win a copy of the new Mumford & Sons album, #Babel. Follow @PeteHatesMusic and RT to enter http://bit.ly/RkjCat #contest

Following us on Twitter does not enter you into the contest – you must tweet the above phrase in addition to following us. You must also not have a locked/private Twitter account because then we can’t see you retweet us!

Simple, right? If you win, @PeteHatesMusic will send you a direct message on Twitter to gather your address information, and we’ll ship you a free copy of the album. Until then, follow us for music news, music videos, and general hilarity (note: hilarity is rare, like me taking a shower).
