Listen! Green Day – Let Yourself Go

When Green Day played their surprise but not really a surprise set at the Reading Festival at the end of August in England, they played a new tune called Stay the Night, which is the Green Day that us here at PHM prefer. Well, someone has leaked a new song (and I’m pretty sure it’s not Green Day) and it’s more in the vein of Stay the Night. Before it gets taken down, you should listen to Let Yourself Go, as it’s the best of the 3 studio songs we’ve heard to date. Sure, it’s a slightly by-the-numbers Green Day song, but it has balls, it has a decent solo, it’s not super poppy, it’s up tempo and the band crush it. Check it out below.
