Watch! Patrick Wolf – Overture

South Londoner, Patrick Wolf, is celebrating his 10 years of recording by releasing a double album called Sundark and Riverlight. This album will consist of re-recordings of re-arranged songs from his catalogue. Our first listen of this double album comes in the form of Overture, the lead song off of Magic Position.

The song is a stark cry from its upbeat opening role on Magic Position. Instead, we get an equally great acoustic version, that is filled out with a harp and strings. There is no disadvantage for people who don’t know the original – you get to listen to an excellent song that you just don’t know. Check it out below.
