Watch! Ellie Goulding – Hanging On ft. Tinie Tempah (Active Child cover)

Now, Ellie Goulding may be a little too ‘mainstream pop’ for PeteHatesMusic, I’m not sure (gotta check with the boss on that). I knew nothing about her until I saw her performance live on Youtube from the Coachella Festival last year while I was waiting to watch another band. She kind of ‘killed it’ on some small little side stage. Her music isn’t what I would listen to normally, but she has an undeniably good voice.

So I have decided to bring you a new video from Goulding for the song Hanging On (via gigwise.com). It’s a cover of an Active Child song, and features the talents of Tinie Tempah as he adds some rhymes. I’m glad all that peroxide hasn’t affected Ellie’s choice of song material. It’s a pretty cool-sounding tune so check it out:
