Watch! Florence + the Machine – Breath of Life

The audio for the new Florence + the Machine song escaped into the Internet last month. You can now see the video for the new Florence + the Machine Song, Breath of Life, which is on the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Huntsman soundtrack. The song is classic Florence – epic sounding, vocals only she can do, and that twinge of weirdness that she brings to her songs.

The video features Florence singing in a studio with an orchestra, as well as movie clips, such as Charlize Theron going into a bath of milk – what I’d give to be that milk! Remember when movie soundtrack videos weren’t commercials for the movie, like Soundgarden’s Live to Rise or this new video are? Example of a classic: U2’s Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me. Pure brilliance. That being said, this song is great – so watch it, and then feel oddly compelled to buy milk for your bath watch the movie.
