Listen! Florence + the Machine and Josh Homme – Jackson

In a week’s time, Florence + the Machine will release their MTV Unplugged album. Besides having Kanye West in the crowd, Florence Welch brought up Queens of the Stone Age singer, Josh Homme, to duet with her on Johnny Cash and June Carter’s song, Jackson. You can now listen to the song, and look at the picture of Josh Homme and wonder what the fuck happened to him – did he lose a bet? That jacket, that haircut, and I’ll even give the facial hair a pass. Is he doing his best latter-life Marlon Brando impersonation?

Tomorrow night, Florence + the Machine will be playing at Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust series of benefit concerts. If you didn’t happen to get a ticket, you can stream the whole thing live, starting at 7pm BST / 2pm Eastern / 11am Pacific over at this YouTube link. PeteHatesMusic will be there and will be providing one of our awesome reviews on Wednesday morning.
