Make Your Own Music Video on iPhone with Video Star App

I don’t see how this app will NOT be popular. If you have an iPhone and like music, get the app – now. High school girls bored in class. Drunk people at a party. Me alone in my parents’ basement. Basically, anyone can and I think will use the new Video Star app for iPhone.

The premise is very simple – get the free app, pick a song on your iPhone and start shooting a video with the camera for the song. You can film yourself, the person you’re stalking, cute cuddly kittens – anything – and make a video on the spot, basically for free. If it sounds boring, add booze and bust it out at a party and you have a guaranteed good time (note: PHM does not promote alcoholism, we just engage in it).

You don’t have to make the video a one-shot wonder either. You can stop the video at any time, and then it’ll start up the music a few seconds before where you stopped filming, so you can jump back into the song ahead of time, in case you’re lip syncing ala Ashlee Simpson on SNL.

The app is free, but you can pay $1 each for effects like “Split Screen” and “Crazy Party”. You can then upload the video you shot to YouTube, which sounds like massive copyright infringement but apparently isn’t (do NOT take our advice on this).

Get the app, or watch a cheesy promo video which doesn’t sell it as good as my awesome prose above.
