Red Hot Chili Peppers Postpone US – Blame “Crushed Sesamoid Bone”

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ frontman, Anthony Kiedis, has some foot problems (as well as moustache problems) and therefore, the RHCP are postponing their US tour (via Billboard). I think there’s a Scar Tissue joke dying to be made….

According to a statement from the band, Kiedis “recently underwent surgery to removed a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot.” I don’t know if that sounds painful, mainly because I do not understand about 90% of the words in that sentence.

The dates in January through March have been pushed back, starting at the beginning of March. Check out the revised tour dates on the RHCP website.
