Watch: The Good, The Bad & The Queen – On Melancholy Hill (Gorillaz cover)

Remember Damon Albarn’s ‘other’ other other project – The Good, The Bad & The Queen? I do – I remember them playing a midnight set at Coachella at the same time as Tiesto. Damon wasn’t too happy with the pounding bass from the other stage, and I totally agreed with him.

The band, also comprised of Paul Simonon from the Clash, Simon Tong from the Verve, and drummer Tony Allen, played a song last night in London, marking the 40th anniversary of Greenpeace.

Below is a video of Damon Albarn covering, er, himself? Is that even considered a cover? The Good, The Bad & The Queen covered On Melancholy Hill by Gorillaz, both sung by Damon, so I’m guessing he had the least trouble with the ‘cover’. Check out a fan video.
