Evening Music Notes

Gibson Releases Guitar that Tunes You!
The really bitchin’ part here is onboard effects, bluetooth connectivity to anything around you, and the ability to hack the sound on your own axe. The ultimate gear geek guitar. Honestly, if you can afford this thing, you can probably already tune a guitar, but it’s still pretty cool.

Stream Feists’ New Album:
Pretty self explanatory – haven’t had a chance to listen to this yet, but let me know what you think – leave a comment.

Bloc Party… Still A Band:
Breakup/lineup change rumours aboud, and Kele Okereke continues to pump out (really good) solo music. Bassist Gordon Moakes and drummer Matt Tong had decided to move forward and work on new music without Okereke, according to Billboard. But the band still exists though – and have posted  ‘see you soon’ recently on their website. Here’s hoping that’s true!

Hot Chip Going Back the the Studio:
Taking some time to work on side projects as Joe Goddard and 2 Bears, Hot Chip is heading back to the studio. One of the best live electronic acts on the planet – this is good news, but it seems everything these guys tough turns to gold. 2 examples below.
