Happy Canada Day everyone (well, every Canadian). The quintessential Canadian band, the Tragically Hip, are headlining a concert at Downsview Park with Weezer and Broken Social Scene. I’ll keep this a short post.

Hackers have gotten into Amy Winehouse’s website and run a muck. Yes, a muck! While hackers have been blamed, is anyone else thinking the defacing of the website was likely Amy Winehouse herself, after returning from the bar?

Liam Gallagher, who taught Amy Winehouse how to drink, has sworn off alcohol! No, seriously! The Beady Eye front man has been sober for six months, which is a shift from the six hours he used to have as a personal best.

What’s a Million Dollars For Worldwide Fame?

Digital Music News, by way of NPR, estimate that a hit song will cost approximately $1,078,000 to write. These costs include Writers Camp (Writers Camp!), hiring a songwriter (wait, what do the writers at writers camp do? just camp??), a producer, and actual song roll out itself. I can do it for $5. If everyone sends me $5, I will prove it. Oh wait, HIT song. Well, I can get a song on Youtube. I will still require $5 donations though.
